Wilt Chamberlain Is the First NBA Player to Make an Appearance on a USPS Stamp

How often do you go to the post office? We're going to guess that the answer to that question is "not often." But if you do still visit there, then the U.S. Postal Service has a treat for you. They just announced that Wilt Chamberlain will be the first NBA player ever to make an appearance on the front of a USPS stamp. The USPS will actually make two different Wilt the Stilt stamps available, and they will look like this:

The movement to get Chamberlain his own stamp has actually been in motion for quite awhile now. Philadelphia Tribune writer Donald Hunt began petitioning the USPS to add a Chamberlain stamp about six years ago. And while they definitely dragged their feet when it came to actually creating it, it's nice to see that they finally got around to doing it.
