Today's NBA is riddled with flops, touchy fouls, and egregious calls that stunt the pace of the game. It doesn't matter whether you're LeBron James or Manu Ginobili; basketball is being conditioned in such a way that rewards players for backing down to their opponent.

However, a new brand of basketball is here to put the bite back in the game. Meet Fightball, an aptly-named style of play that recently made its debut in NYC for a no-holds-barred basketball tournament featuring former New York Knick Chris Smith (you may be familiar with his older brother), as well as performances from Jadakiss and DJ Clark Kent

Today, we're providing an exclusive look at the highlights from the tournament, which show the chippy, heated type of play that we've come to miss ever since the league took a harder stance on in-game fights. Combining a streetball mentality with a polished, professional backdrop, Fightball takes the attitude born on concrete courts and brings it under the lights.

We aren't the only ones to take notice of this nascent pastime, either. Fightball has been covered by Vice, Slam, The Cauldron, Grantland, and others, but this is the first place you'll find video of the event that has everyone talking.
