Earlier this week, Charles Barkley did interviews with Philadelphia sports talk radio station 97.5 The Fanatic and CNN and talked about his thoughts on what's happening down in Ferguson, Mo. right now, race relations in America, and the relationship that exists between police and the African-American community. And those thoughts did not go over well with a lot of people. Even his own Inside the NBA sidekick Kenny Smith disagreed with much of what Barkley talked about during his interviews—and he said so in an open letter that was posted to For The Win on Wednesday night.

So last night, Barkley and Smith spent the first ten minutes of Inside the NBA discussing their differing opinions on the issues mentioned above. And while the outcome of their discussion was essentially "Let's agree to disagree here," it was still interesting to see so much of the Inside the NBA pre-game show devoted to the discussion. You can watch Barkley and Smith's entire exchange in the clip above.
