In what was a game of runs, the Cowboys opened up a 21-0 lead before the Eagles came storming back to go ahead 24-21, but in the end visiting Dallas squad took control and earned a 38-27 victory over their NFC East rivals from Philadelphia. With the win, the Cowboys are now 10-4 and are in the driver’s seat in the division with a one game lead over the 9-5 Eagles with two games to play.

The Cowboys got out ahead of the Eagles thanks to two touchdown passes from Tony Romo to Dez Bryant, who pulled in a career-high three TD passes on the night and led the way offensively for Dallas with 114 receiving yards. DeMarco Murray had a bit of a down game statistically in gaining just 81 yards on 31 carries, but his two touchdowns (one in the first quarter, one late in the third) were instrumental in helping push the Cowboys out ahead.

On the other side, Mark Sanchez struggled as he complete 17 of 28 passes for 252 yards and two interceptions, and fantasy owners everywhere were shaking their heads as LeSean McCoy (16 carries, 64 yards) lost all his goal line carries to Chris Polk (2 TDs) and Darren Sproles (1 TD). The Eagles turned the ball over four times to the Cowboys’ one, leading to 14 Dallas points.

The ‘Boys will host the AFC South champion Colts next week, while the Birds will travel to face a hapless Washington squad just trying to salvage a shred of dignity.
