We’ve seen mascot-player beefs before, but last night Dwight Howard and the Denver Nuggets’ mascot, Rocky, got into it during an extremely closely-contested game between the Rockets and Nuggets.
Rocky and Howard appear to get entangled in a Karate Kid kung fu standoff of sorts, which ended with Dwight landing his shoe to the face of Rocky. Howard doesn’t seem to put too much into it, but Rocky goes down like James Har…very easily.
With a two point game in the fourth, this isn’t exactly the type of shenanigans you’d expect an NBA superstar to be getting involved in.
