Back in July, Nationals outfielder Jayson Werth was pulled over in Virginia after he got caught driving 105 mph in a 55-mph zone. No big deal, though, right? He's not exactly the first high-profile athlete to get pulled over for speeding really, really fast. But Werth was actually scheduled to appear in court and then put on trial for his reckless driving. And earlier today, he was sentenced to do 10 days in jail after getting convicted of the crime.

Werth's lawyer is already planning on appealing the ruling. But Werth could be headed to the slammer for about a week sometime in the very near future. Slow down out there, guys!
