Over the years, Metta World Peace (a.k.a. Ron Artest) has been name-dropped on a number of hip-hop records. Pharrell name-dropped him on Snoop Dogg's "Drop It Like It's Hot (Remix)" in 2004. Rick Ross name-dropped him on "I Solemnly Swear" in 2009. Meek Mill name-dropped him on "Kilo" in 2013. And the list goes on and on and on.

But last night, World Peace discovered that Nicki Minaj name-dropped him on "Trini Dem Girls," a track from her recent release, The Pinkprint. And he was apparently so excited about it that he couldn't sleep. So he took to Twitter to share his excitement:

If you haven't heard the song yet, you can listen to it here. Nicki name-drops World Peace on her very first line:

Congrats, World Peace. All those other name-drops were nice and all, but it sounds like you finally made it!
