After firing former head coach Bo Pelini on Sunday, Nebraska wasted no time in finding a new head coach for their football program, as the Cornhuskers announced their acquisition of Oregon State Beavers head coach Mike Riley today.

During Pelini's seven seasons in Lincoln, Neb., he never won less than nine games in a single year. Meanwhile, Riley won nine games or more in just four of his 14 seasons with the Beavers. In 2014, he led the team to a 5-7 record. Riley also served as the head coach for the San Diego Chargers from 1999-2001, an ill-fated tenure in which he posted a 14-34 record with the team.

However, it's also worth noting that Riley made a lot out of a little; prior to Riley's reign, Oregon State football had suffered 28 losing seasons in a row. So, bearing all these facts and figures in mind, what do we make of the move? Understandably, Nebraska fans are feeling all types of ways about the switch. Scroll below to see some of their furious, disappointed, and surprised reactions.
