The NBA is a hard grind. If you're not a star, you have the thankless job of being out there on court through a laborious 82-game schedule. Sometimes one of the only times you get attention is if you get utterly shitted on like what Wilson Chandler did to Tyson Chandler. Tyson got got on Friday night but must carry on. It's as famed crazy person Gus Fring said, "A man provides. And he does it even when he's not appreciated, or respected, or even loved. He simply bears up and he does it. Because he's a man."
Three things of note:
- Look how high Wilson got on this one. There was no way Tyson wasn't going to take this L.
- Look at how Tyson looked down at the ball right after. It's like when you get barked on by one of the tough guys during a pickup game, then you look down because you don't want anyone to see your eyes watering.
- The Nuggets bench loved that dunk. Their season might end at 82 games, so they might as well get every bit of joy they can.
