Hafthor Bjornsson (who you probably know as the current "The Mountain" from Game of Thrones) lifted a 32-foot long log that weighed 1,433 lbs. at the World's Strongest Viking competition this past Saturday. Embedded above is the video, which contains the impressive feat. Most notable about it is that Bjornsson manages to keep his anus intact without exploding a collage of it and it's contents onto the freakin' floor.

Also of note in the video is the intro, which claims that Bjornsson was breaking a 1,000-year old record that was set during the days of actual Vikings. According to the almost certainly BS legend, Icelander Orm Storulfsson walked three steps with a similar log back in the 10th/11th century. The reason he didn't make it to a fourth step is because his back broke because of course it fucking did, because why the hell would he even attempt that? What were all the other Vikings doing, anyway?

Well today, Bjornsson took five steps and erased any trace of Storulfsson from the record books.

Of course, if you really want to make it fair, go back in time and do it in an era without supplements, modern gyms or safeguards.
