It's perfectly fine if you forgot all about this story. Unfortunately for Oklahoma quarterback Trevor Knight, Katy Perry probably did, too. Back in early October, the singer appeared on College GameDay and was asked to give her prediction for the Sooners' game against the TCU Horned Frogs.
Perry went with Oklahoma because she had her eye on Sooners quarterback, adding, "Trevor Knight call me!" Well, he never did because, at the time, Knight had a girlfriend. Maybe his situation has changed because following Perry's Super Bowl XLIX halftime performance, he sent out this tweet:
Good try, Knight. We hate to say it, but...
