Adrian Peterson's Agent Ben Dogra: "We Want Out of Minnesota"

If his agent is correct, Adrian Peterson no longer wants to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

Is Adrian Peterson's days with the Minnesota Vikings numbered? It depends on who you ask. Vikings general manager Rick Spielman recently told USA TODAY Sports, "Adrian's a member of our football team. He's under contract with us. We are focused on the 2015 season and expect Adrian to be a part of that. Our whole focus is getting ready for that season with Adrian." Meanwhile, AP and his agent Ben Dogra have a completely different point-of-view.

According to Bleacher Report's Jason Cole, Dogra admitted, "I don't think it's in the best interests of Adrian Peterson to play for the Minnesota Vikings." A couple of hours later, Jarrett Bell of USA TODAY Sports published a piece where Peterson's agent kept it very straight-forward and to the point. "We want out of Minnesota," he said.

Clearly, both sides are at odds with one another and even though Minnesota wants him to stay on the roster, it may be in their best interest to part ways with the 30-year-old running back. In early March, Yahoo Sports reported that Peterson has a list of five teams he would like to play for, if his relationship with the Vikings fell apart. Now may be a good time to start contacting those organizations. AP has hinted at restructuring his deal in order to make a trade happen, so the Vikings could utilize that in an effort to ship him out to another team.

Either way, it was a fun eight-year run, but now it is time to move on.
