Floyd Mayweather is doing all kinds of things to get ready for his May 2 fight with Manny Pacquiao. He's putting in time in the gym. He's running around Las Vegas to get into shape. And he's even chopping wood to prepare his body for the bout.

But that's not all he's doing. In addition to working out like a madman, Mayweather is also spending money—lots and lots and lots and lots and looooooots of money—to eat as healthy as possible (which hasn't always been the case before fights in the past). He's working closely with his personal chef Chef Q to make sure that he takes in plenty of protein. And while she charges $1000 per plate, it sounds like he considers that to be money well spent:

In that clip, which Chef Q uploaded to Instagram recently, Mayweather does mention that he gets a discount from her (the video cuts off before he's able to say how much of a discount she gives him). But still, $1000 per plate? That means that he could be spending upwards of $3000 per day, depending on how often he eats, or roughly $180,000 between now and May 2.

"My daily schedule for Floyd is...there is no schedule," she told TMZ Sports yesterday. "I am here for him anytime. Twenty-four hours, seven days a week. If he needs me at 3 a.m., I am there cooking up breakfast."

Chef Q says Mayweather enjoys her spaghetti and tacos. But from the looks of her Instagram, she makes a little bit of everything for him. Go here to see for yourself.

We all know that Mayweather is filthy rich. But can you believe how much he spends on food everyday?
