There are so many candidates for this year's NBA MVP award. From Stephen Curry and James Harden to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, it's difficult to pick just one. But Larry Bird knows who he would vote for this year. And next year. And the year after that. And the seven years following that one. It seems he's a big Russell Westbrook fan, and he wants the Thunder point guard to spend the next decade filling up his trophy cases at home.

"I hope he wins 10 MVPs in a row," Bird said in a Q&A with ESPN recently. "I just love players that compete on a nightly basis and really take the challenge to their opponents."

Bird went on to say that he loves all of the other MVP candidates, too. But for him, there's no question Westbrook should win it.

"He's been special for a month," he said. "But he's been special his whole career, too."

You can read the rest of the Q&A here. Before Westbrook wins his 10th MVP award, he has to win his first one. And it'll be interesting to see if he can do it at the end of the season.
