The Based God's Curse has been rearing its ugly head for four years now.

Kevin Durant was its first victim. He laughed at the idea of a curse. He didn't believe. The Oklahoma City Thunder appeared in the NBA Finals in 2012 and hasn't been back since. A few days on Twitter later, the curse was mainstream and on its way to becoming as important as the Curse of the Bambino. We take a look at how things escalated to this fever pitch. This is The Definitive Timeline of the Based God's Curse.
