Mets' Wilmer Flores Went From Reportedly Getting Dealt to Crying on the Field to Not Getting Traded in Two Hours

The Mets' Wilmer Flores had one crazy night.

It started with a report.

The report surfaced in the middle of tonight's game between the San Diego Padres and New York Mets at Citi Field and spread like wildfire on social media. Then, we found out the players involved on the Mets' side.

Eventually, Flores heard his name was involved in the reported trade with the Brewers and he couldn't hold back his emotions for the only team he has played for since 2007.

Following the Mets' 7-3 loss, manager Terry Collins was all types of pissed off over the reports leaking in the middle of the game.

Then, Mets general manager Sandy Alderson spoke with the media and dropped another bomb.

Alderson went on to blame the beat writers who use social media to spread their reports "social media" for sharing the erroneous information.

While some are pulling the same old #LOLMETS card, the fallout may have had something to do with the Brewers pulling out of the deal over the uncertainty of Wheeler's health following the year-long Tommy John surgery.

Not Wilmer's tears.
