Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Kane is the target of a police investigation, according to a report from The Buffalo News.
Initially, it was only an anonymously sourced report that would be neither confirmed nor denied by multiple people on the record, but some horrifying details are beginning to emerge.
As with anything like this, it's important to note that this is only an investigation. Kane has not been arrested, and no charges have been filed. But it's obviously troubling to hear nonetheless.
Kane lives in Hamburg, NY during the offseason, and had some previous legal troubles stemming from an incident in Buffalo back in 2009.
