Arkansas coach Bret Bielema's mouth keeps writing checks his Razorbacks can't cash. Last week he scoffed at Ohio State's strength of schedule before his team dropped an in-state game to freaking Toledo. That could not have been more poorly timed. Then, yesterday, his team lost a home game to a Texas Tech team that was 4-8 last season. Turns out the timing on that was shit as well, as afterward Tech's fellow alliterative coach Kliff Kingsbury related a story that happened this past offseason:

"At the Texas high school coaches convention this summer, he said, 'If you don't play with a fullback, we'll kick your ass. If you throw it 70 times a game, we'll kick your ass.'"

He then immediately followed that up with:

"He just got his ass kicked twice in a row, and probably next week by A&M, as well. So, that did feel good."

If you're keeping track (which you're not), that's at least two head coaches who publicly mocked Bielema at pressers this week, the first being the Bills' Rex Ryan. Keep in mind that it's only week three, and Arkansas doesn't kickoff their SEC slate until this upcoming Saturday. Also keep in mind that Bielema went home last night to a wife like this:

So, you know, life's not all bad.
