While most of you were watching Tony Romo be incredibly clutch in throwing a game-winning touchdown against the Giants last night, there was some killer counterprogramming happening over on ABC.
That's right, the first NFL Sunday of the season was the perfect time to televise the Miss America Pageant, although somehow, the Patriots and the whole Deflategate saga managed to be a critical part of the equation.
Betty Cantrell (that's Miss Georgia to you) was asked whether or not Tom Brady cheated, and after filibustering for a few seconds, made the definitive declaration that he "definitely" had.
Since America hates the Patriots and everyone outside of Boston believes they're a bunch of cheaters, this solid answer from Cantrell was more than enough to seal the deal and earn her the Miss America crown.
