Nobody's going to miss the NFL Preseason. Yet some will surely miss Hard Knocks. There's nothing wrong with that, as HBO's series is the best thing to come out of the league during their month-and-a-half of exhibitions.
Tonight, on the season finale, this year's star Vince Wilfork lined up for a (possibly?) spontaneous field goal competition against this year's Golden boot winner, Carli Lloyd. It's unclear who wins (we'd assume that's revealed tonight) but Wilfork did boom it in with plenty of room to spare behind the crossbar. If nothing else it proves that big fat guys can pop the pigskin through the uprights with the best of 'em. Of course, any Raiders fan who's been watching Sebastian Janikowskiover the past 15 years already knew that.
But still, this should give you a(nother) reason to tune into a show you were already going to watch/DVR anyway.
