Austin Rivers only managed to score three points during the Clippers’ season-opening win against the Kings last night, but somehow, he’s still managing to make headlines today. And it’s not for the right reasons.

According to a USA Today report, the NBA is currently investigating an incident that reportedly involved Rivers picking up a seat cushion on the Clippers’ bench and flinging it into the crowd at Sleep Train Arena. It’s unclear why he did it, but the cushion apparently hit a fan and may have caused an injury to take place. The woman who was hit reportedly experienced discomfort in her eyes following the incident.

Rivers is expected to be punished by the league. Stay tuned for more details.
