Greg Hardy will be playing his first game this weekend since he was deactivated by the Panthers last September. The reason for his long ass break stemmed from a night where he allegedly beat up an ex-girlfriend and tossed her onto a pile of guns (reportedly over Nelly). He was found guilty, but then requested a jury trial which the victim skipped (likely due to the parties reaching a civil settlement) forcing prosecutors to drop the case. In turn his original suspension of 10 games was reduced to four by an arbiter.

Now those four games are up, and Hardy is getting ready to take the field for the first time for his new team (the Cowboys). Speaking to the media, also for the first time this season, Hardy, unprompted, managed to tie in quotes about both guns and women. It's safe to say when his career is over he won't be getting hired by any PR firms:

Often times cliches are boring, dumb, whatever description you want to use. But if ever there's a dude who should stick to the banal banter that we're all so used to, it's Hardy. Especially when you read about what he (allegedly) got away with.

Well that, or just go Marshawn Lynch on everybody.
