Even though we have to admit that we’re still a little confused about why anyone would want to spend hours watching another person play video games, there’s no denying that people out there love to do it. The “watch other people play video games” industry (I think that’s what it’s called, right?) is worth more than $3 billion, so it’s clearly a force to be reckoned with. And the video above brings us a little bit closer to understanding it.

Last night, Conan O’Brien invited Marshawn Lynch to be on his show to watch some scenes from the new Call of Duty: Black Ops III video game, which features Lynch as a character in it. And while the idea of watching Conan and Marshawn watch video games for eight minutes sounds like it’d be painful, it’s actually really entertaining. The clip features Beast Mode cursing non-stop, Conan making jokes about the game, and both men displaying great chemistry. So much chemistry that Conan would be an idiot not to invite Beast Mode to make regular appearances on his show once he’s retired from the NFL.

Check it out in the clip above—and then go back and take another look at the time Conan invited Lynch and Rob Gronkowski on his show to play Mortal Kombat X. If this is what watching people play video games is like all the time, WE’RE IN.
