One of the few nice things about growing older is that you tend to gain perspective and learn that most things in life are stupid, and don't matter at all. That's what makes it so odd whenever you see adults disregard everything in order to get a foul ball or, in rare cases, a hockey puck.

The latter happened tonight when Buffalo Sabres coach Dan Bylsma tossed what is, at its core, just a cheap rubber disk to an adoring young Penguins fan. As you can see in the clip it was snatched from his grasp at the last second by a much older fan who really wanted a free souvenir.
