Colts Prefer Not to Strain Themselves, Allow Hail Mary TD On Final Play of First Half

They already worked hard to build up a 13-3 lead, why bother playing through the final play when they'd still be up at the half anyway? That must've been the Colts' thinking tonight, because their entire defense just stood around and watched as Jaelen Strong hauled in a 42-yard TD for his first ever NFL reception. It was the last play of the first half.

After some brief analysis and commercials Indy scored early in the third quarter to cancel this out. But still...yikes.

If nothing else, this could serve as solid footage for the annual blooper reel, since it's probably no longer a good idea to show woozy, concussed players falling down to a spring sound effect.
