The Coltsfinally looked like they might be poised to get back on track on Sunday with a big win against the Broncos. But so much for that.

According to reports out of Indianapolis, Andrew Luck suffered a lacerated kidney and an abdominal tear during the game and will be forced to miss two to six weeks of action. He won’t need surgery, which is always a good thing, but Luck has also dealt with a sore shoulder this season and reportedly injured his ribs at some point earlier in the year. So when he comes back, the Colts are going to have to be careful about how often he gets hit. There's also a chance they could drop out of the playoff hunt before he's able to return.

Luck’s backup Matt Hasselbeck is expected to start in Luck’s absence. Stay tuned for more details.
