This probably isn’t the best time for Ray Rice to ask NFL teams to consider signing him. Given everything that has happened with Greg Hardy over the last few days, signing Rice likely sounds like a big headache to most NFL teams.
But TMZ Sports caught up with Rice recently, and he revealed that he’s ready to go whenever someone wants to give him a chance. He was asked where he would like to play, and he said that he’d be grateful to anyone who decides to sign him.
“You could send me to Antarctica in summer clothes,” he said, “and I’ll be ready to play.”
Towards the end of the clip, Rice’s wife Janay also makes a brief appearance. TMZ Sports is apparently going to air additional footage of their interview with Rice when their TV show debuts on Fox Sports 1 tonight.
