You know how basketball players will start throwing up “heat checks” after they’ve hit a few three-pointers, just to see how hot they are? It sounds like Canadian high school player Ahmed Ali, who plays for John Polanyi Collegiate Institute in Toronto, took a few of those during a game against fellow HS team C.W. Jeffreys on Wednesday night. And it also sounds like he made just about every single one.

According to reports out of Toronto, Ali hit 23 three-pointers during the game, including five that were from near the half-court line, and finished the game with 103 points. Unfortunately, there aren’t many highlights from the game included in the clip above, but there’s a full report from a site called North Pole Hoops here if you’re interested in reading it. Ali’s team ended up winning the game 111-76, which is a relatively close game when you take a look at some of the scores from past 100-point performances during high school games.

Ali took this photo when the game was over:

If you missed it, we ran a long feature on players who, like Ali, scored 100-plus points in a game earlier this year. Check it out here.
