Last month, New Orleans Saints cornerback Brandon Browner was the worst at his position. This isn't a matter of opinion, it's based on statistics. According to Pro Football Focus, Browner had a league-worst 27.3 rating after giving up 571 yards on 36 receptions and a touchdown in November.
Following the Saints' 41-38 loss to the Carolina Panthers where Browner allowed subpar, at best, wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr. to amass 80 receiving yards on five catches with two touchdowns, former tight end and current CBS analyst Shannon Sharpe got on Twitter to express some harsh criticisms about the 31-year-old defensive back.
After hearing about Sharpe's remarks, Browner fired back by taking aim at his... "teeth."
Sharpe refused to engage in a war of words with Browner, and made sure to emphasize the original, well-warranted criticism regarding Browner's play recently.
