It’s safe to assume Rondo will be staying in Sac-Town, one way or another.

After a very rocky start, it looks like the relationship between DeMarcus Cousins and George Karl is getting better. Much of the improvement is due in part to a "powerful" meeting held last week between Cousins, Karl and Rajon Rondo, who aired out their grievances and sought out solutions on how to ensure that there are no more locker room blow-ups in the near future. “We are going to continue to communicate on a weekly basis, good or bad,” Karl told Yahoo Sports. “If we are in a good stretch, we are going to still communicate.”

Meanwhile, Rondo, who signed a one-year, $11 million contract to join the Kings this past offseason, is proving to be a huge asset towards helping DeMarcus, on and off the court, by imparting lessons he learned from Kevin Garnett as a member of the Boston Celtics. “Cousins has never play played with a vet he respected,” Rondo said. “He will do his own thing. I’m not trying to be his daddy. But I want to be his big brother like K.G. was to me.”

Cousins appears to have taken to Rondo, admitting, “I basically look up to him.” And it doesn’t end there. When asked about the possibility of Rajon re-signing with the Kings at the end of the season, DeMarcus said, “He ain’t going nowhere. I will kidnap him myself.”

There you have it. It's either Sac-Town or the DeAndre Jordan treatment for Rondo.
