While we make fun of Stephon Marbury's sneaker endeavors in the States, the people in China have made him a demigod. Not only does Starbury have a bronze statue a postage stamp, and a musical in his honor, the god can add a museum to that list. He tweeted out some pictures of The House of Marbury yesterday:

The 300-square foot museum will make its grand opening next week. The oft-embattled and controversial former NBA star fled to China in 2010 when his NBA career began to stall in 2010. It seems that decision was one of the smartest moves he's ever made. Marbury has won three out of the last four Chinese Basketball Association championships with the Beijing Ducks by playing his signature all-around play that, at his best, drew comparison to Oscar Robertson. The important part is that Marbury feels at peace with his pro career (something that he wasn't when his NBA career ended) saying,

"My Beijing jersey means more to me than any of them. I don't [say] that because of the championship, but just because I'm here at home and I've had a support system," Marbury said, according to china.org.cn. "All those places that I've played at is a preparation for me to come to Beijing. For me, my Beijing jersey will be the jersey that I will retire here in China."

At least we know he'll rep the Ducks if ever makes it into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Which, given his high school, college, and pro career, is a legit possibility.
