Watching the NFL playoffs must have gotten Dez Bryant reminiscing about his 2015 NFL season, probably his toughest year as a pro. Not only did the Dallas Cowboys lose Tony Romotwice to injury, but Bryant broke his foot in the team's season opener. He played in just nine games, catching only 31 balls for 401 yards and three touchdowns, all career lows.

Bryant took to Instagram today to post somewhat of an open letter to Cowboys fans, feeling the need to remind them of just what it was he went through last year.

"A lot of people have memory issues...so let me explain what you are dealing with while playing in the national football league dealing with an injury like that...It messes you with you mentally plain and simple," Bryant wrote.

Newton then goes on to say that it was Cowboy fans who made him want to come back and play on a not fully healed foot, and that he's currently in the "healing process" and can't wait for next season.

Still, if there's a man who will forever feel slighted, sometimes for reasons only he sees, it's Dez Bryant.
