Even by NBA All-Star Game standards there was no defense tonight. The final score wasn't too far south of 400, as the West topped the East 196-173. The final tally was concluded with Stephen Curry effortlessly draining a half-court attempt instead of dribbling the clock out:
The narrative before the night was Kobe Bryant who (in his 18th and final All-Star contest) was showered with chants of "Ko-be! Ko-be!" from the Toronto crowd as he exited for the last time:
He finished with 10 points and seven assists.
As for the game's MVP? That went to the same guy as it did last year, Russell Westbrook. The OKC point guard finished with 31 points, eight boards and five steals. His performance was deemed to be more impressive than Paul George's who finished with 41 points, one shy of Wilt Chamberlain's ASG record.
Westbrook's enthusiasm was evident from the opening intros when he came out dancing and forgot to give Drake a high-five:
