Towards the end of his postgame interview after the Washington Wizards' 98-86 win over the Detroit Pistons last night, John Wall was asked about their free chicken sandwich. It's a promotion where Wiz fans receive a free chicken sandwich whenever a player on the opposing team misses both free throws in the fourth quarter.
Now, before people start thinking Wall is ripping his own fans, @recordsANDradio set the record straight.
We may need to side with the fans here because this is the "Chick-fil-A Fowl Shot" and, um, need we say more? Given the aforementioned rules in order to just get a free Chick-fil-A sandwich, of course people are excited!
