For the past few months, UFC fighter Mickey Gall has been hyped as the favorite for whom people want to see as the first opponent in CM Punk's MMA career. That became official on Saturday after Gall beat Mike Jackson.

Jackson, a pro kickboxer, couldn't get himself together after he was hit with Gall's vicious right hand, and takedowns, including a rear-naked choke that made Jackson tap out towards defeat after only 45 seconds.

Once Gall won the quick fight, he was questioned after his win and gladly beckoned CM Punk by saying, "I want to be fed, I’m hungry! Feed me CM Punk please!”

CM Punk was in the crowd and quickly stepped towards the Octagon to follow Gall's request. CM Punk and Gall were quite diplomatic to each other after the summons. Punk told reporter Ariel Helwani:

“Yeah. Very impressive. That’s how I want to win a fight. No damage, that’s gotta be a great feeling. I’ll get that after I beat Mickey Gall… I asked him, ‘Are you having fun?’ ‘I’m having a blast.’ Good, that’s why we’re here.”

As far as when they will go up against each other in the Octagon, Punk stated. "“It’s not up to me, but if I have any stroke at all it’s at (UFC) 200.” Although, UFC president Dana White claims that the two fighters should be facing each other during UFC 199. Whether these fighters face each other on the 199 or 200 card, this should be fun, and brutal, to watch.
