Blake Griffin has missed 41 games this season due to a partially torn quad, plus a hand fracture, and will now have to miss four more for punching his good friend in the face. That was the news this afternoon as the Clippers announced their All-Star forward had been cleared for all basketball activities. He'll have to miss the game going on right now, in addition to contests to be played tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday. That means he'll be back on the court next Sunday, April 3, against the Wizards. That gives Griffin roughly two weeks to get back into hoops shape before the start of the playoffs.

When he has been on the floor this year (30 games) he's averaged 23.2 points, 8.7 boards and 5.0 assists.

Currently the Clippers are positioned to be the four-seed out of the West.
