In a horrifying moment during last night's ShoBox: The Next Generation event, boxer Eudy Bernardo needed to be taken off on a stretcher after getting knocked out by Mason Menard. Once he was tagged with an overhand right, Bernardo was out cold before even hitting the mat. The referee immediately called an end to the bout. The medical staff was rushed into the ring to place a neck brace on Eudy and transport him to the nearby Oneida Healthcare as a precaution.

Luckily, it appears that Bernardo is doing well. According to Fightnews.com, Eudy is "awake and responsive."
