Today's the day where you should just ignore all bad news because in all likelihood it's just somebody being a dick. To many it's obvious. But to too many it isn't. Safe to say that the more naive you are, the more confusing these 24 hours must be. Enter: Le'Veon Bell, Pittsburgh's All-Pro running back, who announced his retirement today at the age of 24 in a very clearly fake tweet:

it's been a great run with Steeler Nation, I will always have love 4 all my former teammates, coaches, & for all my fans! but gotta move on!

— Le'Veon Bell (@LeVeonBell) April 1, 2016

The mass majority saw right through this BS, yet a couple members of Steeler Nation wet themselves:

@L_Bell26 what the fuck.....

@L_Bell26 Almost ruined my Friday. Spent at least 15 min trying to find out what happened.

— SHAMBO (@itzShambo) April 1, 2016

@L_Bell26 you almost gave me a heartattack until I realized what day it is

APRIL FOOLS is one of my favorite days if you all didn't know!! my agent even thought I was serious!!!! 😂😂😂

— Le'Veon Bell (@LeVeonBell) April 1, 2016

He even somehow tricked his own agent, which should maybe tell him something about his agent:

At least he didn't crack a joke about drunk driving.

This'll probably happen at least one more time before the day's over.
