Marcus Smart's Egregious Flop is Already The Best Vine of the Playoffs

Marcus Smart flopped dramatically during the Celtics' win over the Hawks Friday night.

What are you doing, Marcus Smart? Were you actually expecting a foul call for this?

Late in the Celtics' Game Three win at home over the Atlanta Hawks (that series is now 2-1 in Atlanta's favor), Jae Crowder fired up a three and Smart charged toward the rim from the other side of the circle, in search of an offensive rebound. Kyle Korver established good box-out position, pinning Smart along the baseline, so Smart decided to take a chance and flop. Put the onus on the refs, right?

It wasn't just any flop, though. Smart executed the most beautifully disastrous acting job you'll ever see. He leapt, kicked out his legs, and flailed his arms. When he landed, he held his wrist to feign injury, doing his best impression of a dramatic soccer player.

Smart is averaging 9.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.5 steals in his second year out of Oklahoma State (remember when he did this?). Though his offensive game still leaves much to be desired, he has established himself as a nice role player with Brad Stevens' young team.

Smart always seems to find himself in the middle of weird situations. Don't expect that to stop anytime soon.
