Tim Bradley, the two-time former WBO light welterweight champion, will take on Manny Pacquiao for a third time Saturday in Las Vegas. In an interview leading up to the fight, Bradley was asked whether he is frustrated that troublemaking boxers like Adrien Broner get so much more attention than him, despite the fact that Bradley (33-1-1, 13 knockouts) is one of the most accomplished boxers in the world. Fast forward to 1:06:00 to hear his response.

“That’s actually a good question, and it doesn’t frustrate me because I always tell my kids and I always tell people that doing the right thing, man, doing the right thing and setting an example and being an example for people is what we’re here to do,” Bradley told Robert Littal’s Drip Drop Hour podcast.

Bradley was philosophical in the interview, and it was clear he had given a lot of thought to this topic.

“If I have to go that route and be the man I am and not get that attention? I don’t want that attention, man,” Bradley laughed. “I don’t need it, because guess what, I’m happy with myself … there is no greater feeling in the world than knowing who you are as a man, as a person, as an athlete, and knowing where your strength comes from … I do nothing but praise those guys that’s out there doing it and making noise and getting a lot of attention. Y’all handle y’all business your way, I’ll handle my business my way.”

Bradley and Pacquiao split their first two matches, both in controversial fashion. Bradley won the first in a 2012, 12-round, split-victory decision that many said should have gone Pacquiao’s way. The second time they fought, in 2014, Bradley lost in a unanimous decision after tearing a calf muscle during the fight. Saturday's fight is scheduled for 9 p.m. EST.
