Klay Thompson went off for a playoff career-high 41 points Saturday night. He set an NBA playoff record of 11 tres, which helped the Warriors defeat the Thunder 108-101 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals. In case you missed it, here is a recap of how he shot the lights out in Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder were up in the series 3-1, but now are on the brink of elimination after getting so close to their first trip back to the NBA Finals since 2012. Lo and behold, the Crying Jordan face made it's inevitable appearance at the arena as well.

Thompson is undoubtedly one of the NBA's best shooters. But he didn't give credit his game six performance to hard days of work in the gym, nor Lil B's omnipotent curse on Kevin Durant for that matter. Instead, he said that his Yoda socks gave him "Jedi powers" to help make him a force beyond the arc that the Thunder couldn't stop.

According to The Vertical's Michael Lee, Thompson stated, “I brought my Yoda socks to bring out my Jedi powers.”
