Moses Malone's son, Moses Malone Jr., was allegedly attacked and robbed early Saturday morning outside of Houston nightclub V Live, and he claims several people associated with Rockets star James Harden are responsible for it.

The son of the late three-time MVP is reportedly now hiding in "another state" out of fear for his life. According to Malone's lawyer, who spoke with ABC 13, Malone lost about $15,000 worth of jewelry during the alleged attack.

Malone Jr. told police he believes he was attacked as a result of a Facebook post that he put up criticizing Harden for the price of his basketball camp. After he posted the criticism, he claims that, at the request of Harden, members of his entourage—including at least four people armed with guns—beat him up and stole his jewelry.

This is the post Malone Jr. put up on Facebook:

Malone Jr. also claims V Live did nothing to stop the alleged attacks.

A spokesperson for the club disputed Malone Jr.'s account of what happened while speaking with ABC Houston:

"I don’t believe Mr. Harden was at the club, and I definitely don’t believe he had anything to do with an attack on Mr. Malone. And so the club’s position is that Mr. Malone is a regular of the club. We would have done everything we could to make sure he was safe.”

The Houston Police Department is currently investigating the alleged incident but no arrests have been made at this time.
