More than 50 former pro wrestlers, including Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Chris "King Kong Bundy" Pallies, and Joe "Road Warrior Animal" Laurinaitis, filed a class action lawsuit against both the WWE and WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon on Monday alleging that the WWE concealed the long-term health effects brought about by traumatic brain injuries from them. Similar lawsuits have been filed against the NFL and NHL in the past, and a group of three former pro wrestlers filed a lawsuit just like this one against the WWE in April 2015.

In the most recent lawsuit filed against the WWE, the former wrestlers listed in it claim the organization didn't care for head injuries "in any medically competent or meaningful manner." They also claim the WWE would routinely "place corporate gain over its wrestlers’ health, safety, and financial security, choosing to leave the plaintiffs severely injured and with no recourse to treat their damaged minds and bodies." The lawsuit specifically names wrestling moves like the "piledriver" and "body slam" as the direct causes of the head injuries that some pro wrestlers have sustained over the years.

Here's a copy of the lawsuit with the names of all the wrestlers involved in it, which was first published by Deadspin:

In the lawsuit, the 50-plus former pro wrestlers also claim the WWE didn't provide adequate medical benefits or health insurance for those who competed on behalf of the company. They claim that forced wrestlers to rely on the WWE's in-house doctors, who would push "obviously concussed" wrestlers back into the ring "9 out of 10 times."

The WWE responded to the wrestlers' lawsuit by releasing a statement on Monday afternoon. "This is another ridiculous attempt by the same attorney who has previously filed class action lawsuits against WWE, both of which have been dismissed," the statement said. "A federal judge has already found that this lawyer made patently false allegations about WWE, and this is more of the same."
