A 7-year-old boy named Carter Blair wrote a precious letter to his idol, Michael Jordan, and his mom handled it in the smartest way. Instead of firing it off to the Hornets media team or someone from Jordan brand, she tweeted it at his Twitter-active son, Marcus.

He loves #michaeljordan so much. I don't have the heart to tell him his letter will likely go to a pr firm. @HEIRMJ pic.twitter.com/6LUMxciAyc

"I am your biggest fan," Carter wrote. "You are my favorite player ever! I wish I could have watched you when you played with the Bulls, but I watch YouTube videos of you all the time."

Marcus Jordan, 25, loved the letter. He invited Carter to visit his new Orlando retail store, Trophy Room, and said he was sending a screenshot of the letter to HisĀ Airness.

This is awesome! Gotta get #CarterBlair to visit @TrophyRoomStore šŸ†ā€¼ļø Sending screenshot to my Dad nowšŸ“²šŸ‘šŸ€ https://t.co/ugRpYqtgSs

Carter's mom responded.

@HEIRMJ @TrophyRoomStore u r amazing. Just dropped it in the mail to his NC house also. Not sure if it will get to him or not. So cool of u.
@HEIRMJ And he would die to visit @TrophyRoomStore !

As if this response from Marcus weren't cool enough, imagine how Carter would feel if Michael Jordan actually reached out to him. Do it for the youth,Ā MJ.
