Grillo had quite the adventurous experience in order to get to Rio.

Spent yesterday fighting weather, running thru airports and looking for hotels at 3am and missed a fun day with some who support me most.

Thanks big airline for the ride around the world before getting to destination.

When he finally arrived, Emiliano was missing one very important item: his golf bag. Actually, it should be more like, HIS GOLF BAG!!! Grillo tried reaching out to the airline company on Twitter, stressing that his chance at competing in the Olympics is now hanging in the balance.

@AmericanAir delays, rerouting and 20+ calls can't find my golf bag. I am going to miss my chance to compete in the Olympics. @Rio2016

@AmericanAir seriously, find me a human in JFK, MIA, or Sao Paolo that can physically look for my bag and confirm where it is and send it.

But American Airlines isn't the only one to blame for this problem. Grillo also sent a tweet to LATAM Airlines.

@LATAMAirlinesUS @LATAM_BRA need to help as well, 2 flights are yours. I am going to miss playing in @Rio2016 because can't locate my clubs

— Emiliano Grillo (@GrilloEmiliano) August 8, 2016

Both companies have since reached out to Grillo in an effort to help him locate his golf bag.

Hi Emiliano, where you have registered it? Can you tell us the number of your ticket and baggage irregularity report?

— LATAM Brasil (@LATAM_BRA) August 8, 2016

@GrilloEmiliano We have a team of folks working on this for you, Emiliano!

— americanair (@AmericanAir) August 8, 2016

Even as he goes through this stressful situation, Emiliano is still finding a way to inject some humor into his ordeal, conducting a poll to see where his followers think his bag is currently located.

Dónde crees que están mis palos?

Where do you think my clubs are?

Grillo is scheduled to tee off at 6:30 a.m. on Thursday. Needless to say, time is running out!
