On Wednesday morning ESPN published a profile on brothers Michael and Martellus Bennett that's set to appear in their Aug. 22 College Football Preview Issue.

For the uninitiated, Michael (a defensive end for the Seahawks) and Martellus (a tight end for the Patriots) can be seen as somewhat of the anti-Mannings. A pair of NFL playing brothers who don't seem to censor what they say for the sake of landing endorsements.

The two gave several candid responses to writer Mina Kimes about every freakin' subject they were asked about. But, for the purpose of this article, we'll simply focus on what they had to say about their NFL contemporaries.

Some of the quotes they dropped were refreshingly blunt (if also a bit dick-ish), and some of the stuff they said was complimentary, just in a non-traditional way.

You can likely figure out from their set of quotes which is which.

For instance they were asked about Martellus's former quarterback, and teammate of three years, Jay Cutler:

Michael: "Worst quarterback in the NFL."
Martellus: "I’d be open and he’d throw into double coverage."

Damn. Seems like a lot has changed over the past 10 months.

They also spoke about Sam Bradford, sarcastically (and also not for the first time):

Michael: “The greatest quarterback in the NFL.”

Martellus: “Vicious. Competitive.”

Michael: “A real Joe Montana.”

Eli Manning:

"Eli? He’s cool. He’s like a normal white guy you see at the park trying to teach his kids how to play soccer and you know he can’t really play soccer himself."

J.J. Watt:

Michael: “Dominant player.”

Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler:

Michael: "I've got more sacks than he's got touchdowns."

Martellus: "I've caught more balls than he's completed."

Cowboys tight end Jason Witten

Martellus: "I hated Jason Witten. I appreciated his game, but I always hated him."

Michael's coach Pete Carroll:

Martellus: "Joel Osteen."

Michael: "Tom Cruise. I feel like Pete Carroll is like Benjamin Button. He doesn't want to get old. He's getting younger every year. What is going on?"

Martellus: "That's what money does."

Jeff Fisher:

"If a QB went 7 - 9, he’d never be able to find a job."

Martellus's new quarterback Tom Brady:

Martellus: "The silver fox you never get to see but you hear about. You only get to take one photo, and you have to stay outside for a year just to get it."

MVP Cam Newton:

Michael: "Probably the quarterback I like to hit the most."

And, of course, Roger Goodell:

"A—hole. Nah, I’m just joking — you can’t say that. Overpaid."

In fact, from the interview, it seems logical to infer that the brothers have an opinion on every damn topic/player in the league.

It wouldn't shock us if that were true with most players, we just rarely hear them ever actually speak on it. If nothing else the answers from the Bennett bros. are certainly more entertaining than your canned athlete clichés.

You should definitely go check it out over at ESPN whenever you have time.
