LeBron James appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, and while we didn’t learn much from the interview portion of his appearance—can people please stop asking him what it meant to bring a championship back to Cleveland as if they don’t already know the answer?—we did learn a thing or two when Ellen invited LeBron to play a game of Roomba basketball. Turns out LeBron is almost as good at shooting crumpled up pieces of paper into a wastebasket as he is at shooting a basketball into a basket, and he also doesn’t really look like a guy who has taken too many vodka shots in his life.

The rules of this particular game of basketball, which featured two wastebaskets attached to Roomba vacuum cleaners, were simple: If Ellen made a shot, LeBron had to take a shot of vodka, and if LeBron missed a shot, Ellen was the one who had to take a shot of vodka. And while they didn’t really stick to those rules for very long—spoiler alert: Ellen somehow ended up winning (?!)—it was still pretty amazing to see a LeBron appearance on Ellen that ended with him taking two shots. It might explain this bizarre (and hilarious!) "Happy Birthday" post that LeBron put up for Kevin Love on Instagram early Wednesday.

There aren’t very many people who could convince LeBron that playing a drinking game in the middle of the day is a good idea, but Ellen is definitely one of them. Watch her play LeBron head-to-head in Roomba basketball in the clip above.
