There three things guaranteed in life: death, taxes, and ridiculous Madden glitches. Last year, Madden 16 gave us this work of art where two teams struggled to pick up a loose ball for nine minutes! Then, there was the deep ball glitch, which utilizes a wide receiver, like former Detroit Lions wideout Calvin Johnson, to pull down every single deep ball with relative ease.

So, how could Madden 17 top their masterful yet frustrating work from last year? How about the type of interception returned for a touchdown which will make you want to immediately quit the game, turn off your console, or throw your controller at the screen. The above clip shows New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning throwing to Odell Beckham Jr. on a post route. As Beckham goes up for the one-handed catch, the ball decides to have a mind of its own and magically flies out of his hand, into the mitts of Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith. Oh, did we mention that Smith caught the "tipped" ball from nearly 25 yards away? This is the type of play that would never, ever, ever happen in a million years.

While we want to laugh at this Madden player's misfortune, we can't help but feel bad. This is something we wouldn't wish on our worst enemy. After all, if this were to happen to us, we would be beyond pissed, and could completely understand someone's decision to either chuck their controller or quit playing Madden altogether.
