Are congratulations in order for Usain Bolt and his longtime girlfriend Kasi Bennett? Earlier today, Bolt posted a picture on Snapchat with the caption, "She said yes," suggesting that he popped the question while on vacation.
The rumored engagement comes just weeks after a video showed up on Twitter of Bolt grinding on a woman in a Rio club. There were also photos of the Jamaican sprinter in bed with a 20-year-old woman named Jady Duarte. Then, there was the rumor that "at least six girls" came back with Usain to his London hotel after hitting up Drama nightclub to celebrate his 30th birthday.
As the rumors continued to circulate, Usain's sister Christine Bolt-Hylton toldThe Sun that she thought the World's Fastest Man would settle down with Kasi once he returns home from the Olympics. “I’ve met her and she’s lovely—she’s perfect for Usain," Bolt-Hylton said. “I would say that there’s a very strong possibility they’ll get engaged when he comes home."
If the news of their engagement is true, it will surely put a smile on the face of Usain's mother Jennifer Bolt, who toldCNN that she wants to see her son settle down sooner rather than later. "I would hope he'll settle down, get married and start his family," she said. "I know he'll settle down because he has said it. He told me many times that he's going to start his family."
