Inside jokes and losing bets are the worst when you become either the object of ridicule, or indebted to whomever you shook hands with. The New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals are two NFL teams that hold weekly team competitions every Friday. But the Saints don't make the losers on their team ever look as ridiculous as the Cardinals. Whichever players in the contest lose team bet, they are mandated to look goofy in a hilarious outfit that looks as stupid as like this or that.

Cardinals starting quarterback Carson Palmer lost this past week's competition for the team's quarterbacks. As a result of taking the L, Palmer was required to don a clown suit during warmups before the Cardinals-Rams game on Sunday. In the clip above, you can see that Palmer literally took wearing the clown suit in stride as he trotted onto the field to practice and work some drills before the game's kickoff.

And this isn't the first time that Palmer has lost a weekly competition. Palmer lost another bet and was required to wear a faux bikini top— let alone on his birthday— last season in December. And just last month, he lost yet another bet in which he had to dress up in a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume.

The clown suit that Carson wore isn't as threatening as those demonic clowns that keep luring children into the woods, or attacking people in their homes. Take it as some good humor in light of that.
